Jeffrey FiorentinoChief Executive Officer
Jeffrey Fiorentino is a leader, writer, teacher, and speaker in the areas of Business, Technology, and Substance Use Disorder. Mr. Fiorentino started with Kipu Health as a Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer, before taking on the added responsibility of heading up the sales department. Having assumed the CEO role in 2016, Mr. Fiorentino has worked tirelessly to inject his passion and vision into all aspects of the organization, while keeping patient wellbeing and user experience a top priority. Prior to his time at Kipu Health, Mr. Fiorentino worked at the accounting firm Grant Thornton LLP. He obtained a master’s degree in Accounting to complement an undergraduate business degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Miami. In Mr. Fiorentino’s (albeit limited) spare time, he enjoys deep sea sportfishing and enjoys spending time with family.
Richard C. WalletEVP of Client Happiness
Rich Wallet is a seasoned business executive with over 25 years of experience building and scaling business divisions tackling leadership roles in a range of areas. These areas include manufacturing, retail management, e-commerce marketing, direct response operations, all manner of advertising, and supply chain management. Prior to joining Kipu Health, Mr. Wallet was a Senior VP at Fanatics.com, in charge of e-commerce and customer satisfaction for the $1 billion online retailers. He is a graduate from Hofstra University and resides in South Florida with his wife Samantha, and a 5-year-o ld pit bull.
Edmundo AjaChief Financial Officer
Simply put, Eddie Aja is Kipu Health’s numbers guru. Prior to his time at Kipu Health, Eddie spent his preceding tenure at Pet Supermarket, where he grew to the position of CFO. During his time with Pet Supermarket, he refrained from acquiring a pet while helping the chain grow from 150 stores to over 210 nationwide. Eddie further assisted in the sale and merger of Pet Supermarket to a private equity firm. Before that, he spent 8 years at an e-commerce company where he grew to Senior Controller, while in his spare time earning an MBA degree from the University of Miami and went on to earn his CPA accreditation as well. That’s a lot of letters: BA, MBA, CPA. Eddie is a resident of Coconut Grove and has two daughters, ages 5 and 7.
Sally Abu-moustafaSenior Vice President
Sally first met Kipu as a client and one of the earliest adopters of the KipuEMR. Prior to joining Kipu, Sally served as Chief Operating Officer of a 150-bed CARF and TJC accredited Substance Use Disorder and Detox treatment facility, where she spearheaded the implementation and management of Kipu. Along the way, she worked side by side with the Kipu development team to drive features and functionality for the benefit of all Kipu clients. Now a leading member of the Product Management team, Sally brings her hands-on experience as a superuser to be a driving force in the continued development and long-term vision of Kipu. Sally brings more than 25 years of progressive experience in management, operations, and marketing from a broad range of industries. She received a BS in Business Administration from Salem University in Salem, Massachusetts, and an MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She resides in South Florida with her husband, two children, and a 10-month old Goldendoodle.
Todd LeeChief Technology Officer
Our clients and we sure are fortunate to have Todd Lee overseeing Kipu Health’s industry-leading software development and cutting-edge technology initiatives. Mr. Lee has extensive experience and a track record of developing and advancing industry-leading software that hundreds of thousands of people rely on. Mr. Lee was both the founder and CEO of LeeRCM, a revenue cycle management software system developed specifically for the Substance Use Disorder treatment industry. Prior to that, Mr. Lee served as CIO of Corsair Components, a well-established computer hardware company that does hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues. Mr. Lee enjoys spending time out on the water with (most) of his loving family that includes his wife, three children, two dogs, one cat, and a bunny rabbit.
Michel DelgadoChief Information Officer
Michael Delgado brings 25 years of experience in the IT and data space and was a Founder and Chief Architect at a Fortune 500 Internet retailer. In addition, Michael was the Chief Technology Officer at Royal Caribbean Group, where he assembled a world-class team of Developers, Architects, and Analysts. His passion for working with deep data and exposing insights to help business drive efficiency has made him an effective leader in database administration, querying big data, building OLAP cubes, managing data lakes and building Business Intelligence tools. Michael is currently a member of the State of Florida Cybersecurity Taskforce reporting directly to Lieutenant Governor Nunez; prior to that, he was a board member and Chair for the American Heart and Stroke Association. Michael received his MBA from the University of Miami.
Nestor SuarezChief Marketing Officer
Nestor Suarez manages the great team of marketers that work every day to spread the amazing news of Kipu to treatment centers across North America. In addition to having a background encompassing over 25 years of Direct Marketing and E-Commerce experience including managing over $1 Billion in online sales, Suarez is proud to work with the Kipu creative team that thinks outside the box in finding news ways to communicate with treatment centers on a one to one basis. Suarez, who is a lifelong South Floridian, has helped companies grow their business as the VP of E-Commerce for companies like TigerDirect.com, BrandsMart USA, and Origin PC. Suarez brings his analytical and results driven background to continue to help Kipu grow its reach across North America.
Richard RodriguezEVP of Sales
Richard brings 30 years of technology sales success to Kipu, specializing in building and managing B2B business development teams. His career began with a Fortune 1000 corporation, where he drove 30% to 40% growth for ten consecutive years. He continued his track record of success with ITsavvy, where he assembled a South Florida sales team to expand the company’s reach from the Midwest U.S., offering clients Managed Services, Engineered Solutions, Cloud Solutions and more. That team quickly became the fastest growing division among the company’s five regional locations. Mr. Rodriguez brings to Kipu his ability to find and acquire the best sales talent and to create the structure for them to succeed. His passion for technology and compassion for others has brought him enthusiastically to Kipu.
Kate StewartVP of Strategic Partnerships
Kate Stewart leads Kipu’s Labs 2.0 Interface team, educating Kipu clients on the clinical and financial advantages of a powerful, efficient connection between treatment facilities and their laboratory partners, ensuring that every client uses the system to its fullest potential in streamlining the ordering and results process. Ms. Stewart is a long-time veteran in the Behavioral Health and testing laboratory industries, bringing years of experience working within substance abuse and mental health facilities, navigating the ever-changing ecosystem, assisting them in connecting to labs to meet their clinical needs as well as ensuring ethical and outstanding service.
Mark DavisSenior Vice President, Implementation Operations
Mark Davis leads Kipu’s service team, providing leadership for all client-facing departments, including client success management, implementation and client support. Mr. Davis has a decade of deep experience in the EMR software industry, serving in a number of positions including project manager, business analyst, implementation specialist and client success manger. Before joining the Kipu team, Mr. Davis worked with industry notables Kareo, EMA, WebPT and Practice Fusion. His experience in customer service was born during ten years at Nordstrom as a manager. Mr. Davis hails from the California, serving his community as a volunteer for various non-profits including “Meeting Senior’s Needs Hotline” providing meals for the local homeless population.
