Chief Technology Officer | Todd Lee
We and our clients sure are fortunate to have Todd Lee overseeing Kipu Health’s industry leading software development and cutting-edge technology initiatives. Mr. Lee has extensive experience and a track record of developing and advancing industry leading software that hundreds of thousands of people rely on. Mr. Lee was both the founder and CEO of LeeRCM, a revenue cycle management software system developed specifically for the Substance Use Disorder treatment industry. Prior to that, Mr. Lee served as CIO of Corsair Components, a well-established computer hardware company that does hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues. EVP of Business Development | Peter Walstrom
Mr. Walstrom is a healthcare executive in the behavioral healthcare sector. His background is comprised of a decade of operational and financial management experience with an emphasis on lean system engineering, business development, and revenue cycle management. Before joining Kipu, Mr. Walstrom served as COO and CFO of Mandala Healing Center, a premium long-term care facility treating patients suffering from Substance Use Disorder. Responding to the lack of effective out-sourced medical billing services, in 2012, Mr. Walstrom founded a revenue cycle management company, Hyperion Billing Solutions, which over a 3-year period averaged 50.48% collections on out-of-network charges for its clients. Later that year, Walstrom led the add-on acquisition of a residential treatment facility, Alternatives in Treatment, adding 30 more beds to the current capacity. In 2015, Mr. Walstrom was personally appointed to the Sober Home Task Force by State Attorney David Aronberg and continues to serve as a contributing member. He is also a founding member of the Independent Coalition of Treatment Providers (ICOTP).
Chief Financial Officer | Edmundo Aja
Simply put, Eddie Aja is Kipu Health’s numbers guru. Prior to his time at Kipu Health, Eddie spent his preceding tenure at Pet Supermarket, where he grew to the position of CFO. During his time with Pet Supermarket, he refrained from acquiring a pet while helping the chain grow from 150 stores to over 210 nationwide. Eddie further assisted in the sale and merger of Pet Supermarket to a private equity firm. Before that, he spent 8 years at an e-commerce company where he grew to Senior Controller, while in his spare time earning an MBA degree from the University of Miami and went on to earn his CPA accreditation as well. That’s a lot of letters: BA, MBA, CPA. Eddie is a resident of Coconut Grove and has two daughters, ages 5 and 7.
