Missed signatures or approvals on important documentations within the episode of care is detrimental, yet very common. That is why Kipu EMR makes sure that signature levels are available at every segment. You decide what, who and how many levels are needed, dependent on work flow process. It may be as simple as one signature from the patient to meet your requirement. On the other hand, you may require multiple signature levels that can range from the patient, therapist, clinician, lab or even the clinical director. The limit is set by you and your requirements. Reporting of signatures obtained or missing/required is also embedded within the system and available for use. Your agency may want to let the clinical director know that a treatment plan is awaiting his/her review and signature, with reporting.
